Well, it sounds very stupid, that BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate LK Advani wants to have live debate on the question whether Dr. Manmohan Singh is the weakest Prime Minister.

The question of having a live debate on such stupid question does not arise. Advani, if he at all wants to have debate, he should call for a national debate on the question ”who can save the country, Who can deliver what the people want, who can take India ahead....?

I wish there should be a live debate on these questions.

I think L. K. Advani has gone over ambitious about his Prime Ministerial aspirations. Sometimes he terms Manmohan Singh as weakest Prime Minister and some time he says that Prime Minister should be a member of Lok Sabha. Being a candidate for the highest post he should raise the people’s issues rather than wasting his own and people’s time in such childish debates.

a live debate should definitely be held. it should specifically be held on the national television channel of doordarshan as it is pretty to the point and would conduct it without bias.

however, whether the PM is weak is definitely not the point to be discussed.

But what should be the topic of debate?

Will it be the strength or weakness of PM or it should be based on policies and over all approach of a party for Indian people including the most deprived section?
